All of the third graders rotated through six teachers. So in the end I did this project with 120 third graders and it was super easy...I would even do it again. I've been room-mom'ing it forever, now, and can tell you that it's always crazy, and never the same. Ever tried to make popsicle stick reindeer ornaments with a crazy bunch of first graders? Not pretty. Base your decision on what kind of class your son is in. {ie, wild, mellow?} No matter what craft or game you choose, always take an "in-between" Christmas themed printout or similar to fill the prep or clean up time. My best response to date is when I loaded up a dozen board games to my oldest daughter's class party, & shoved the desks against the walls. They said I was the "coolest Mom ever!" :)For a Mom to still be cool to middle schoolers, that was a defining moment.
